Delete Your Account

How to request deletion of your Flowbriq account and personal data, from the app or by email.

This is permanent. Deleting your account erases your data completely and at once — profile, projects, transactions, parties, everything. There is no soft delete, no recovery window, and no way to transfer ownership to someone else first. Once it's done, it's done.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Flowbriq account and personal data in either way:

  1. In the app. Go to Account → Support, and submit a request titled "Delete my account." Include the reason if you have one — it helps us improve.
  2. By email. Email privacy@flowbriq.com from the phone number or email registered on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request."

Our support team verifies the request and then deletes your account and data manually — there is no instant self-service deletion today. We will confirm before we proceed, since the deletion itself cannot be undone once it runs.

If you are a company owner, deleting your account deletes your company's projects, transactions, and every team member's access along with it. Flowbriq does not support transferring ownership to another account — there is no way to hand the company off first. Make sure every other owner or admin has exported anything they need before you request deletion.

2. What Gets Deleted

Once we act on a verified request, deletion is immediate and complete: your profile, login, company, projects, transactions, parties, and uploaded files are all removed in the same operation. We do not keep a recoverable copy, and we cannot restore an account after this runs — there is no grace period to change your mind.

Data CategoryWhat Happens
Profile, login, and account dataDeleted immediately, in full
Projects, transactions, parties, uploaded filesDeleted immediately, in full
Financial / tax records (GSTIN, PAN, invoices)Retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax law, even after account deletion

The financial-records exception above is a legal requirement, not a choice we're making — Indian tax law requires us to keep invoicing and GST records for 7 years regardless of account deletion. Everything else is gone the moment deletion runs.
